Modern chandelier manufacturers offer customers many different shapes, styles and directions. But with this diversity, there is something that always remains in fashion – a classic. Elegance of lines, first-class transparent glass, romantic pendants - all this is offered by the Italian company Reccagni Angelo, which in

the 20th century breathed new life into the classic style.
Italian lighting masters have a long history behind them. Since the 17th century, Venetian chandeliers have adorned the most magnificent palaces in Europe. On this background, Reccagni Angelo looks like a newcomer. The company was founded relatively recently, in 1969, by Milanese Angelo Reccagni. But young age should not be misleading: the style of Reccagni Angelo is an eternally young classic.
The company began its activity in an era when classical and romantic styles in the interior were considered somewhat outdated. Manufacturers of chandeliers enthusiastically mastered new materials, colors and shapes: all kinds of plastic, reflectors in the different geometric form, bright colors. The Italian Reccagni remained true to the centuries-old Italian traditions. He did not rely on novelty, but on the excellent quality of materials. And he didn't did it wrong.
Reccagni Angelo specialize exclusively in interior lighting. Despite the variety of collections, all chandeliers, wall sconces and table lamps have a certain stylistic core, that distinguishes the products of the Milanese Company from others. The Reccagni Angelo brand is popular not only among buyers, but also among "pirates". But in this case, it is easy to distinguish a fake: the quality of the materials is noticeable to the naked eye. Another distinguishing feature of Reccagni Angelo is its passion for bronze, a metal that most lighting manufacturers have abandoned.
The production of metal, glass and crystal parts for Reccagni Angelo chandeliers meets different divisions:
The "metal" part of the work was undertaken by Ghidini Giuseppe Bosco. This factory specializes in molding luxury furniture and lighting components. Exactly there the bronze components of the chandeliers are produced. Moreover, the metal ‘horns’ of the chandeliers are made exclusively according to the author's patented sketches of Reccagni Angelo. The bronze fittings of the fixtures contain at least 65% copper, all details are polished by hand.

Glass components are an equally important part of magnificent chandeliers, wall sconces, table lamps and floor lamps. It is produced by two factories - Vetreria Lux and Cristalleria Nuovo Stilvetro. 
The first is famous for its ancient Tuscan technique - Florentine glassblowers have been famous in Europe since the middle of the 18th century, their skills are passed down from generation to generation.
Cristalleria Nuovo Stilvetro is known for producing high-quality crystal glass, where amount of lead is not less than 24%. Reflectors are blown by hand, their distinguishing characteristic is the combination of a matte and transparent surface in one glass.

Reccagni Angelo chandeliers also have crystal small details. Pendants are supplied by the Austrian company Scholer. This is the so-called eco-friendly crystal, in which lead is replaced by barium.
A few plastic elements in Reccagni Angelo chandeliers are made of lighting engineering plastic, and beech is used for wooden parts. Thus, there is no doubt about the quality of the chandeliers - the most famous factories in Europe are working on it.
While other manufacturers rely on variety, Reccagni Angelo is true to style. Milanese chandeliers are aristocratic classicism, romanticism, as well as a few elements of floristry. You can hardly hang them in the kitchen, bathroom or children’s room, but they will turn the bedroom into an exquisite boudoir, add shine to the living room, turn the hallway into an elegant hall.
The names of the chandelier series have romantic names. Argento, Blu, Bronzo, Rosa, Verde - or Silver, Blue, Bronze, Pink and Green collections. But do not be deceived by the names of the colors - all the lamps have the traditional Reccagni Angelo color - a bronze base and reflectors made of transparent, white or beige frosted glass, silver and golden details. Only decorative details have the above mentioned title color.
Typically, the collection consists of several options for chandeliers, two or three options for sconces and a table lamp. These are required items. As a rule, Reccagni Angelo includes single-lamp pendants in the collection, and occasionally ceiling lamps. Perhaps the only drawback of Reccagni Angelo is floor lamps, or rather, their scarcity. These lamps are not presented in every series. The pluses can unconditionally include a rich selection of chandeliers. In the collections there are both small chandeliers for three lamps, and front door (grand) ones - for 24. It is very convenient - you can always choose a lamp according to the size of the living room.
Another advantage of Reccagni Angelo luminaires is that they look good both as a collection and individually. If there is not enough resources for the whole series, you can limit yourself to a sconce or ceiling lamp, which will perfectly fit into the hallway in a classic style. And, perhaps, the main advantage of Reccagni Angelo is the price. It may seem quite high, but compared to other Italian manufacturers and with the excellent quality of chandeliers, this is the golden mean.
